About Blind Week
Blind Week is the time of year when we celebrate New Zealanders with vision loss living their lives without limits. It’s an opportunity for people to share their stories, and inspire others to do the same.
Today at least three more New Zealanders will be told they’re losing their sight. The aim of Blind Low Vision NZ is to provide practical and emotional support to these people, enabling them to face their future with confidence.
With your help this Blind Week, we can reach more people in your community who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision.
Get involved in Blind Week
The Blind Week street collection is on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2020. We are looking for volunteers who can spend a couple of hours collecting money in their local community to help people who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision live a life without limits. Register to collect and support your fellow Kiwis!
