Amblers Walking Group

The Amblers Walking Group was designed as an easy introduction to regular exercise with the goal of encouraging Blind Low Vision members to take up walking as a regular habit.
These walks take place in and around the Auckland Domain and is suitable for all fitness levels.
Volunteers are available to support members who require a sighted guide.

When: Every Monday except on public holidays and over the year-end holiday break.
Time: Participants start gathering at 10.15am for a one-hour walk, starting promptly at 10.30am.
Venue: The start and finishing point is the court yard to the left and rear of the Parnell Library, 545 Parnell Road, Parnell, Auckland. They finish at the Community Hub (2 Maunsell Road, Parnell) and bring your own lunch.
What to bring: As the route chosen can cover bush, grass or paved surfaces, a good pair of walking shoes will be necessary. A sun hat, water bottle and a rain jacket are recommended.
