Getting there: Fraser Park is easily accessible by bus (Taita Drive stops) and car (parking via Harcourt Werry Drive).
Lower Hutt City AFC Gymnasium, Fraser Park, Harcourt Werry Drive, Taitā, Lower HuttBlind Football is a fast-paced and exciting version of indoor football, specially adapted for players who are blind or have low vision. Using a modified futsal ball that makes noise when it moves, players rely on sound and teamwork to navigate the game.
Each team includes four blind or low vision players and one sighted goalkeeper, with modified FIFA rules that remove offside calls and promote fair, fast play.
Our monthly Blind Football sessions are held in partnership with Wellington Phoenix FC and Lower Hutt City AFC. We’re starting with walking football to keep it accessible to all skill levels. Come along, have a go, and be part of building Blind Football in Aotearoa from the ground up!
