Embracing new adventures and more independence.
Neroli first connected with Blind Low Vision NZ around the age of five. Diagnosed with oculocutaneous albinism as a baby, Neroli has received a range of support over the years – leading her to a full life of recreation and participation.
Thanks to donations like yours, Neroli attends regular walking groups around her beloved Otago area – and more recently has taken up sailing and lawn bowls too!
“I know it’s helped me become more independent,” she adds, “It gets me out of the house and gets me out of my own head sometimes, which is quite nice. I really appreciate that.”
