The Notice of the RNZFB 2021 Annual General Meeting has recently gone out advising that this year’s AGM was to be held on Saturday 13 November in Tauranga. However, given the on-going uncertainty around Auckland’s alert levels affecting the ability of RNZFB directors and staff to travel to Tauranga to host the 2021 Annual General Meeting, the RNZFB Board has had to make the decision that this year’s AGM will now be held virtually. This decision was not made lightly and done with the intent to provide plenty of notice to giving attendees the opportunity to participate in a virtual format.
We still plan to host satellite meetings from our Wellington, Kapiti and Tauranga offices and other locations throughout the country if there is sufficient interest to do so and we encourage members to please call the Contact Centre on 0800 24 33 33 to indicate if you are interested in attending the AGM from your local office.
If Auckland moves to Level 2 in November, then we hope to open our doors in Auckland for members to join the AGM in person in accordance with COVID-19 Alert Level 2 parameters and social-distancing and health and well-being protocols.
