Young members of the Blind Foundation will get the chance once again to have a weekend of outdoor fun and adventure at this year’s Rotary Camp. Taking place at the YMCA’s Camp Adair, the camp focuses on building friendships and self-confidence, with both peer support activities and all kinds of recreation activities, from archery, to trapeze, to camp cooking.

It’s open to any member of the Blind Foundation aged between 9 and 16. To attend, kids also need to be:

  • In good physical health
  • Willing to participate in outdoor activities
  • Able to understand instructions

Ideally, they’ll also be independent with self-care, although alternative supportive options can be sorted out.

For more information, visit the Rotary Camp event page, and contact Latesha Sharp. It costs just $25 for the whole weekend.

Previous camps have been awesome fun for the participants, and we know this year will be no different- so make sure you get your application form in!
