We are thrilled to share some exciting news! We have secured funding to provide 1,200 Alexa devices to our clients over the next year. Starting from this month and rolling to 30 June 2025, we will be distributing these devices, around 100 each month.
These Alexa devices are designed to assist people in their daily life, offering features that can make everyday tasks easier and more accessible. For instance, Alexa can help you set reminders, control smart home devices, read audiobooks, and provide weather updates. This can be especially helpful for people who are blind or have low vision, as Alexa responds to voice commands, making it easier to access information and perform tasks without needing to see a screen.
Our Library Services team is dedicated to enhancing our clients’ experience with this new technology, ensuring they have the support and resources they need.
