Park Hyatt Auckland

Park Hyatt Auckland is proud to support Blind Low Vision NZ, with General Manager Brett Sweetman and his family adopting Beau, the hotel’s now resident Labrador and official ambassador. Beau greets guests on arrival, assists with luggage, monitors guest and client movement in the lobby and does daily rounds of the admin offices to play with his colleagues. Our partnership with Blind Low Vision NZ helps to raise awareness and donations for the training and care of guide dogs, while also enhancing the home away from home feeling within the hotel, bringing smiles to visitors and staff alike.

Challenge Fuel

Challenge Fuel have a network of 78 independently owned and operated fuel stations across Aotearoa with a local community feel. They stand for Kiwi independence, value for money, down-to-earth service and being genuine with customers.

There “My Challenge Reward Programme” supports many community organisations including Blind Low Vision NZ. When My Challenge members redeem their fuel points for cash rewards, they can donate them to a community group their local store supports.

This results in thousands of dollars being donated to Blind Low Vision NZ every year.

Z Energy

Since 2013 Z Energy has been running its flagship programme “Good in the Hood” each September and October, to support charities and local communities that are doing great things.

For Good in the Hood 2022, nine of Z Energy stations have proudly chosen to support Blind Low Vision NZ.

They are Springlands (Blenheim), Constable Street (Wellington), Carlton Corner (Christchurch) Kaitia, Kaikohe, Kamo, High Street (Lower Hutt), Ngatea and Kennedy Road (Napier).
