Support and Community

What our clients say

“The Blind Foundation helped me learn how to cope. I used to feel so inadequate but it’s experiences like going on the Outward Bound eight day adventure and personal development course where I can overcome challenges and meet interesting people gives me strength and makes me grateful for what I have, instead of focusing on what I don’t have.” – June

Connecting with other people with sight loss

Community Support Groups exist in local communities across New Zealand. The volunteers are involved in a lot of different activities which bring people who are blind or have low vision together.
